Allah says in Quran that: “We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance: We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity!” (Qur’an, 18:13-14)

It is one of the most important characteristic of a Muslim to be truthful in their deeds and actions. Sometimes when you make some mistake or sin and want to hide it from other then take the assistance of lying which is not a good habit. While lying, always keep this thing in mind that Allah knows everything even those which you do not know about people around you. Allah says in Quran about those who are truthful that: “This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath – their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah. That is the great salvation, (the fulfillment of all desires).” (Quran 5:119)
The path of lying takes you away from the path of Allah and the teaching of Quran and Sunnah. It is important for Muslim to be truthful and in return Allah will bless them with the reward of Paradise. Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that: “Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to al-fujur [wickedness, evil-doing], and al-fujur leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah a liar.” (Bukhari)
There is no doubt that there is no one trustworthy like Allah Almighty. When you say that there is no one trustworthy like Allah then it means that you have a firm belief that Allah will never let you down whatever the situation will be. Allah says that: “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks. And Allah Heareth and Knoweth all things.” (Qur’an 2:256)
Try to be trustworthy and practice it daily so that people consider you trustworthy and they have a trust on you that you will not deceive them in the hour of need.
Have self-control and Be Allah-Conscious
Perhaps, it is the most difficult thing that you face during the time of your adolescence. It is not easy for you to abstain yourself from falling victim to your own desires. For a successful life, it is totally depend on you that how you control yourself and your desire for something which will keep you away from the right path. Allah says in Quran that: “And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint, none but persons of the greatest good fortune.” (Qur’an, 41:5)
It is a habit which is not difficult to adopt. In searching of excellence in your dealings and words from the start of an early age assists you, not only for thoroughness in your own life, but also for thoroughness in the lives of those people who around you.
Being focused in your life makes you able to attain your ambitions in your life. But if during the era of your adolescence, you distract from your ambitions in life that you find it difficult to attain. Even it is important for Muslim to concentrate while praying that it will improve your relationship with Allah Almighty. Allah says in Quran that: “those who humble themselves in their prayers.” (Quran 23:2)
